Colorado Spousal Maintenance Calculator

For marriages of at least three years, Colorado gives judges an advisory guideline: maintenance is roughly 40% of the higher earner's income minus 50% of the lower earner's — capped so the recipient's total doesn't exceed 40% of the couple's combined income. Duration scales with the length of the marriage.

Estimate only. Colorado's maintenance guideline (C.R.S. § 14-10-114) is advisory — judges may award more, less, or nothing based on the statutory factors, and the amount guideline applies to combined incomes up to $240,000/year. Duration for marriages of 20+ years may be set for a defined term or indefinitely. This is not legal advice. For a realistic read on your case, book a no-charge 20-minute call with Charles.
